This is just heartbreaking, Dean trying to carve some kind of space between them, the separate rooms, through his behaviour, as if subconsciously to give Sam justification to leave him, to blame him. To justify the guilt he feels, or sommat. OW
Also, the last section was utterly beautiful. It left me kind of speechless.
