I'm so...torn, I guess. On the one hand more of Gene is AWESOME and I can't wait to see Ray with a perm, but the whole premise just smacks of...desperation, I guess? Like they're trying to do Life On Mars again but with a chick so they can have some romance. And there'll be no tension or suspense 'cause we've been through it all with Sam already1 So what's the point? I was hoping when I heard about the spinoff that they'd be making a normal cop show but in the 80s and with Gene. That'd be cool enough on its own!
